at nature’s pace

£55.00

Clear

Take some time out from your busy life or family to immerse yourself in a 24 hour, off-grid nature connection escape as part of the Explorers Connect Wild Night Out 2022 night of adventure.

It’s not always possible to carve out a big chunk of ‘me’ time. But it’s essential to find a space for personal restoration, relaxation and reconnection. This mini nature connection escape whisks you away from the everyday for just 24 hours to fully immerse yourself, mind, body and spirit, in the awe and wonder of nature.

We’ll explore on a health and well-being walk to a wild swim, create nature art, forest bathe and enjoy some fun nature connectedness games and activities. You’ll learn about the incredible benefits to your mental and physical health that come from deepening your connection with the natural world. The evening will be spent full of fun and companionship around the campfire.

From midday Saturday to midday Sunday, give yourself 24 hours off-grid to reconnect, rewild and restore in amongst a wonderful woodland tucked away in a hidden, tranquil corner of the beautiful Rusland Valley in the South Lake District.

Survey

Lots of exciting research has been taking place in recent years to measure the benefits of nature connectedness. Using scales recommended by the University of Derby NCRC we’ll ask you to complete a short questionnaire both pre- and post-activity.You’re not obliged of course but if you’d like to help that would be great!

Whatever the weather

We choose to embrace the weather, come rain, hail or shine. It can really add to the experience. Our adventures and escapes take place outdoors, naturally. Unless the weather is dangerous to life, activities will go ahead. You know what they say, “No such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes!”

1% for the planet

at nature’s pace chooses to donate 1% of profits each year to conservation organisations that are doing great stuff for nature and people. It’s part of our commitment to give to others and show care and compassion for nature: 2 of the ways to well-being and nature connectedness.
