WILD & WELL FELL WALKS
at nature’s pace

This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Guided walks with a twist amongst the spectacular fells of the Lake District. Giving you the chance to reconnect with nature, rewild your natural spirit and restore mind, body and soul, Wild & Well Fell Walks are more than, well, just a walk!

Taking you up and away from the everyday, you’ll experience the best the Lake District landscapes have to offer: majestic mountains, swooping valleys, sparkling lakes, wonderful waterfalls, amazing wildlife.

And – here’s the twist – each fell walk combines with nature connectedness activities along the way, scientifically proven to give you a dose of natural health and well-being goodness by truly tuning in, with all your senses, to what is around you.

The scientific research is now clear. Developing a deeper connection with nature – as opposed to just going for a walk – helps to: boost your immune system, reduce stress and anxiety, relieve depression, lower blood pressure, improve heart health, restore mental fatigue, increase creativity and productivity.

Nature connectedness makes us feel a greater emotional attachment, compassion and commitment to care for the world around us, of which we are all a part. It really has the transformative power to change our lives and our world for the better.

Nature truly is a miracle treatment!

Find out how to make the most of all the health and well-being benefits that water, woodlands and wildlife have to offer – you’ll be amazed! – and take the tools for nature connectedness back into your everyday life.

These walks are set at an affordable rate to be accessible to most but if you are on a low income, please get in touch for a chat ruth@atnaturespace.co.uk

All walks are for over 18s.

Survey

Lots of exciting research has been taking place in recent years to measure the benefits of nature connectedness. Using scales recommended by the University of Derby NCRC we’ll ask you to complete a short questionnaire both pre- and post-activity.You’re not obliged of course but if you’d like to help that would be great!

Whatever the weather

We choose to embrace the weather, come rain, hail or shine. It can really add to the experience. Our adventures and escapes take place outdoors, naturally. Unless the weather is dangerous to life, activities will go ahead. You know what they say, “No such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes!”

1% for the planet

at nature’s pace chooses to donate 1% of profits each year to conservation organisations that are doing great stuff for nature and people. It’s part of our commitment to give to others and show care and compassion for nature: 2 of the ways to well-being and nature connectedness.
